If Jesus says He’s God either He’s

Telling the Truth – He is God
Eyewitnesses:

Friends of Jesus
2)
People who heard Him say He was God

Enemies: Heard Him say He was God and decided to
kill Him
Anyone
can claim to be God but only One can back it up by raising from the dead.
Matthew 28:
5-6a The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you
are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said.
Through
the science of probability, we can see that the prophecies in the Bible clearly
point to Jesus being God.
Each
person has an address that separates us from all other people. Each person’s
address is unique so that we can receive mail or email.
What
is the unique address of God’s Son, Jesus Christ that no one else could fit the
bill?:
1 – The Seed of the Woman. Everyone else is
referred to as the seed of a man but the Messiah is referred to as the seed of
a woman. Mary gave birth to Jesus without any man being involved. Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity
Between you and
the woman,
And between your seed and her seed;
He shall bruise you on the
head,
And you shall bruise him on the heel.”
2 - Everyone traces their
lineage back to Shem, Ham and Japheth (Noah’s three sons) . God eliminated 2/3 of the human race when He chose to bring Jesus
through the line of Shem. Genesis 9:26 -
He also said, “Blessed be the Lord,
The God of Shem;
And let Canaan be his
servant.
3 – Abraham was the one man chosen from Shem’s line. Genesis 12:1
4 – Abraham had two sons: Isaac and Ishmael and established His
covenant with Isaac. This eliminated 50% of Abraham’s line. Genesis 17:21 But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah
will bear to you at this season next year.”
5 – From Isaac’s two sons, Jacob and Esau, Jacob was chosen. This
eliminated 50% of Isaac’s line.
6 – Jacob had 12 sons/tribes.
The tribe of Judah was chosen for the Messiah to come through. God
eliminated 11/12 of Jacob’s lineage with The Son coming from the lineage of
Judah. Genesis 49:10 The scepter shall not depart
from Judah,
Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,
Until Shiloh
comes,
And to him shall be the
obedience of the peoples
7 - God eliminated most of the
family line of Judah when said that His Son would come through the line of
Jesse. Isaiah 11: 1 Then a shoot will spring from the stem of
Jesse,
And a branch from his roots will bear fruit.
8 – Jesus would come through the line of David. God eliminated 7/8 of Jesse’s sons.
9 – When David wrote about the Roman style execution
that Jesus would go through, this style of execution was not in effect. It
would take another 800 years before Roman style execution would come into
existence. Psalm
22:16 For dogs have surrounded me;
A band of evildoers has encompassed
me;
They pierced my hands and my feet.
10 – God narrows it down
further: 400 years before Christ, His
betrayal by a friend, being sold for 30 pieces of silver that would be cast
onto the floor and the money used to buy a potter’s field is prophesied about
in Psalm 41 and Zechariah 11.
11 - God eliminated every other
single city in Israel and revealed that His Son would make His debut in
Bethlehem. Micah 5:2 - But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Too little to be among the clans of
Judah,
From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel.
His goings
forth are from long ago,
From the days of eternity.”
God went out of His way to point to who
would be the Redeeming Messiah.
60 Prophecies focus on 1 Person –
this is not a coincidence.
The implication is stunning. When you
stand before Him you will be without excuse.
Every knee will bow and every tongue
will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Christianity is not a religion but a
relationship with God, with Jesus
Christ.
At the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who
are in heaven and on earth and under the earth Philippians 2:10
